What is Laboratory Testing?
Laboratory testing means checking a sample, such as water, air, soil or wastewater, in a scientific lab to find out what it contains. The lab checks for things like chemicals, minerals, bacteria, dust particles, noise levels and other elements that affect health and the environment.
Once the sample is tested, you get a detailed report. This report tells you if the sample matches the safe limits set by government bodies such as the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) or the State Pollution Control Board.
Laboratory testing is used to:

- Check if a factory's air emissions are within legal limits
- Study soil quality before farming or construction

1. Water Testing
We test drinking water, ground water, surface water and packaged water for physical, chemical and biological parameters.

This helps households, RWAs, hotels, hospitals and industries confirm that their water is fit for drinking or industrial use.
2. Air Quality Testing
We measure indoor and outdoor air quality, along with stack emissions from industrial chimneys.
We test for:
- Suspended Particulate Matter (PM10, PM2.5)
- Sulphur Dioxide (SO2)
- Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)
- Carbon Monoxide (CO)
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
This is important for factories, construction sites, hospitals and any business that needs a Consent to Operate (CTO) from the Pollution Control Board.
3. Soil Testing
Soil testing tells you what nutrients and contaminants are present in the land, which is useful for both farming and construction projects.
We check:
- Soil pH and texture
- Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium (NPK) levels
- Organic carbon content
- Presence of heavy metals or contamination
Farmers use this data to apply the right amount of fertiliser, while builders use it to understand land quality before construction.
4. Noise Level Testing
Noise pollution is measured in decibels (dB) at different times of the day. This is required near residential zones, schools, hospitals and industrial areas to make sure noise stays within permitted limits set by CPCB.
5. Effluent and Wastewater Testing
We test water discharged from Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) before it is released into the environment.

- Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
- Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
- Oil and grease content
- Heavy metals
This confirms that treated water meets the discharge standards set by the Pollution Control Board.
